Amber Brannan Staff Photo

I am a graduate of Troy University (formerly Troy State University) with a BS in Early Childhood Education.

I also have my Library Media Specialist masters from the University of West Alabama.

I began teaching in 1997 at a private school in Troy, Al.  After spending a year there, my husband and I moved to Eufaula, AL where I taught for a total of 7 years in grades, k-2.  In 2005, my family moved to Ozark.  I taught 2nd grade at Mixon for 8 years, then I moved into the library for 2 years.  Last year, I came to Lisenby Primary as the Technology Specialist.  This year, I am back in the library as the Media Specialist!

My name is Amber Brannan.  I was born in West Point, Ga and attended high school at Springwood High School.  Then, I attended Troy State University and graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education.  My husband and I married in 1997.  We lived in Troy, then Eufaula, and we are now beginning our 12th year in Ozark.  I love my Ozark City Schools family.  My husband, Joey Brannan, is the Assistant Superintendant of Ozark City Schools.  I have a daughter, Bailey, who is a Junior at Carroll Hight school.  I also have a son that is an 8th grader at DA Smith Middle School!  I love to read, sew, do anything artsy, and follow my children wherever their endeavors take them!  We are always on the go.
